VENIA VOUMVAKI
Well, I’ve known Maggie for many, many years. From the good years of advertising with our
drinks, our nights out, our laughter, before the big downhill. What had impressed me was her
need to explore, not to sit still, to want to learn.
I liked it because it reminded me of me.
The years passed and when I reached fifty I said “that’s it”. My creative duties as a designer in
companies were over, I got tired of hearing “go ahead, throw it away, no one will see it, now AI
will do it”. And so I became a freelancer, a designer – illustrator and at the same time I continue
my dream, painting.
At this time, we met Maggie again, where she introduced me to her idea, her vision, her child
Bonding Nest. It touched me and expressed me completely. I told her we have it. With her
voice, with her writing and from my side visualizing her vision, we will share it with parents and
children of all ages, even if you think you don’t need it! You will see how through very simple
art, while parents listen, children understand and connect with you.
I also paint paintings, from portraits of children to dogs and cats!
I paint blouses, bags, scarves and much more! Whatever I see in front of me!
